CST-01 The World’s Thinnest Watch – a kickstarter campaign.

Central Standard Timing started a kickstarter campaign for the CST-01. The CST-01 is an 0.80mm thin flexible watch with an E-ink display. It is the thinnest watch in the world and they need money to manufacture it. That is why they started the campaign.

The CST-01 is said to charge in 10 minutes and last one month on one charge. It can be recharged ten-thousand times and can last over 15 years. You set the time on the base-station which is where you charge the CST-01. For people who prefer the 24 hour time format, that is also available as an option for the watch.

If you go to the CST-01 Kickstarter Campaign, you can pledge money even though they have already exceeded their goal. Their goal was $200,000 and they now have over $600,000. They have over 4,000 backers and there is still 32 days to go.
