The Reviewer Card…Its really dumb

The ReviewerCard is a card that I think is really dumb. You pay $100 dollars for a card that says “Reviewer Card”, displays a “I write reviews”below that,and in the bottom left corner has your name.

The way this works is, you display your “Reviewer Card” to a local business and you get premium services because you write reviews. I mean, come on, I’m going to buy a $100 dollar card to get %10 off a meal or service.

I suppose, eventually this could all add up to some savings, but if someone brought this into my business, I would laugh. I think that is what most businesses would do too. If walk into a business like you have a big authority with this card, you don’t. You are supposed to write reviews because you like or dislike the business or product and if you are going to write a bad review because they don’t give you special “Deals” when you show them the card then you are not being honest.

This is a dumb idea, I hate to say it but it is. In a way, it is black-mailing. It gives me a vibe of threatening to write a bad review if you do not give them a premium service or deal.
